Dear Defence Secretary,

I write to you to congratulate you for the victory over the largest terrorist organization in the world.

I was honored when I was invited to your office to talk about the strategies to fight the LTTE. The Sri Lankan Diaspora with the help of friends of Sri Lanka did our best to assist to cut off the LTTE supply lines.

I thank you for allowing me to speak in Colombo and informing Mr. Erik Solheim that there was freedom of speech in Sri Lanka and informing Solheim that not even the Sri Lankan Defense Secretary had the power to revoke freedom of speech. The truth has to be told. Now some of the evidence Norwegians Against Terrorism (NAT) found in 2004 is verified by Wikileaks and various intelligence agencies. Development Minister and friends of terrorists Mr.Erik Solheim is verified to be the naked emperor.

Mr. Mahinda Weerasinghe, a great Buddhist, he told me sometimes actions had to be taken. We talked at his home in Kandy he said he had big problems accepting someone killing chickens close to his estate. He bought the chicken farm, and the problem was resolved. Mr. Weerasinghe was informed by his estate manager that the many wild boors at his estate posed a threat to the children of his employees. After a careful consideration he purchased a gun to the estate manager. Usually conflict can be resolved peacefully, but with the LTTE it was necessary to use the armed forces of Sri Lanka. I tried to explain this to Erik Solheim, so did the Sri Lankan Diaspora, but as we all know his focus was on the Nobel Peace Prize and not the future of Sri Lanka.

I would like to ask you for an act of kindness. Could you please ask your brother Mahinda to look for all legal possibilities to get General Sarath Fonseka out of prison. He is just like you, a great hero.

Try to put political differences aside and think about the future. The future of Sri Lanka is very bright. In my view everyone should help to get the cake bigger, rather than get a bigger piece of cake. I think the JVP, JHU, EPDP, PLOTE  and other political parties that was firmly against the LTTE terrorism and LTTE suppression of theTamils would agree. It is more important to spend the money on the Internally Displaced Sri Lankans and fallen war heroes, than using money for legal expenses to keep a hero in jail.

General Fonseka can do a formidable job for Sri Lanka. I am not another Erik Solheim that knows everything, I am just proud to be a Buddhist. Regardless of the charges against the great general Fonseka, please assist to get him out of jail.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards

Falk Rovik
