India’s communication satellite burst in space

altThe communication satellite named GSLV-F06 launched by India today to replace the INSAT-2A burst 120 seconds after takeoff reports Indian media. The satellite that weighed 2310 kgs cost about 1250 million say reports.  
 
According to reports the satellite that had been launched from Sriharikota rocket launch centre in Tamil Nadu on Saturday was on the predicted trajectory and perfectly functional for the first 50 seconds. However, the satellite soon burst into flames of orange and red. The debris of the crash fell into the Bay of Bengal.
